By accessing or using AuroraTracker at https://auroratracker.net (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site.
AuroraTracker provides aurora borealis (northern lights) forecasts, viewing location guides, photography tips, and educational content about space weather and geomagnetic activity. Our forecasts are derived from publicly available data from NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center, Open-Meteo, and other scientific sources.
Aurora forecasts are inherently uncertain. Our viewing probability estimates are based on real-time data and statistical models, but actual aurora visibility depends on many factors including local weather conditions, light pollution, observer location, and the inherently unpredictable nature of solar activity. We provide forecasts as guidance only and make no guarantee of aurora visibility at any specific time or location.
Do not make irreversible travel decisions based solely on our forecasts. Aurora viewing involves natural phenomena that cannot be predicted with certainty more than a few hours in advance.
