By accessing or using AuroraTracker at https://auroratracker.net (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site.
AuroraTracker provides aurora (northern and southern lights) viewing location guides, an illustrative KP index probability calculator, photography tips, and educational content about space weather and geomagnetic activity. Our KP index reference scale and location ratings are based on published data from NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center and other scientific sources, but the Site does not run a live space-weather or weather feed. For the current KP index or local weather, consult NOAA SWPC or a weather service directly.
Aurora visibility is inherently uncertain. Our viewing probability estimates are illustrative, based on statistical models and reference figures rather than a live data feed, and actual aurora visibility depends on many factors including local weather conditions, light pollution, observer location, and the inherently unpredictable nature of solar activity. We provide this guidance for planning purposes only and make no guarantee of aurora visibility at any specific time or location.
Do not make irreversible travel decisions based solely on our probability estimates. Aurora viewing involves natural phenomena that cannot be predicted with certainty more than a few hours in advance.

You may share links to our pages but may not reproduce substantial portions of our content without written permission.
NOAA data referenced on this Site is in the public domain.
The Site does not currently run affiliate links, sponsored placements, or commercial partnerships with tour operators, accommodation providers, or equipment retailers. The only outbound third-party links on the Site are references to data sources (such as NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center) and to the privacy policy of our hosting provider, Vercel, which also provides Vercel Web Analytics.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuroraTracker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, travel expenses, or other intangible losses resulting from reliance on our probability estimates or viewing recommendations.
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
